Comprehensive Approach To Your Case

Our attorneys bring diverse knowledge to each case. Attorneys Mark Bachara and Gina Essey previously worked for the office of the district attorney as prosecutors before transitioning to defense. This experience provided them with in-depth knowledge of how the prosecution thinks and acts, allowing for stronger defense strategies.

In addition to his legal degree, Bachara earned a MBA degree from the University of Baltimore. He uses in-depth economic and business insights to counsel business law clients, and clients whose cases require financial analysis. Bachara was selected for inclusion in 2018 North Carolina Super Lawyers list.

Rooted In The Local Community

Bachara and Essey are North Carolina natives, and have a deep understanding of the region and its residents. Both are active members in local associations. Essey is a board member for both the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce and Hope Harbor Home. Additionally, she acts as a mentor judge for the Brunswick County Teen Court. Bachara sits on the Brunswick Community College board of trustees and on the board of directors for the Dosher Memorial Hospital Foundation.
